Below is a complete list of all the “jam” sessions recorded by the members of the 2021 “Improvisation Club”.   This list includes both the song title and the first name and last initial of the performing artists in each session.  The purpose of this site was for the club members to be able to listen to each of their solos, critique what they heard, and (most importantly) contain a record of all of each soloist’s performances, in order to observe any and all progress in the few short months since we began in March of 2021.  All recording sessions were held “virtually” on- line, due to COVID.  Actually, it was  the pandemic and everyone being stuck at home that the “club” was even created.  Although I was working on this instrumental “pre-improvisation” curriculum prior to 2021, however, when the “lock downs” began, I shifted things into high gear.  Since band students had a much more restricted (if any) “band experience” in 2021, my goal was to fill that “gap” and get kids excited once again about playing their instruments.  I think it worked.
